A taste of French cooking for WI

MEMBERS of the Shiplake Women’s Institute were given a French cookery class by the head chef of a Henley restaurant.

Philippe Brillant of Le Parisien, in Bell Street, performed cookery demonstrations to 65 ladies in Shiplake Village Hall last Thursday.

His presentation included basic knife skills, food preparation and cooking, including the much-loved dessert, bread and butter pudding. The guests enjoyed the dishes cooked for lunch and were given a selection of recipes to take home. Read this article online by clicking here
